Working principle
The cross-sectional shape of the plate-type flotation column can be round, square, or round top. The ore slurry is fed from the upper ore feed pipe and evenly flows into the flotation column.
Compressed air is filled into the column through the vertical air tube through the plenum at the lower end of the column. A large number of small bubbles formed are evenly distributed on the whole section.
The slurry slowly falls under the action of gravity. The bubbles slowly rise from bottom to top and meet the useful minerals in the slurry continuously in the column.
